Sculptural Bent Rattan Lounge Chair

A generous barrel-form lounge chair constructed entirely of bent rattan, with a sweeping circular base that curves continuously into the wraparound back and arms. Multiple stacked rattan poles form the frame, lashed at intervals with fine rattan binding in the manner of the Bonacina school. The seat retains a round upholstered cushion in a neutral woven fabric. Warm honey patina throughout with honest wear consistent with Italian manufacture, likely 1960s–1970s.
